 Dr. Vivek Polshettiwar
 

 

Dr. Vivek Polshettiwar was born in Mangli (India) in 1979. He received his BSc (1999) and MSc (2001) degrees in Chemistry from Amravati University, India. He then moved to DRDE, Gwalior, where he received his Ph.D. (2005) under the supervision of Prof. M. P. Kaushik. He investigated nano-structured functionalized silica for catalysis, with Prof. J. J. E. Moreau in 2006 for his postdoctoral research at ENSCM, Montpellier (France). Currently he is working as an ORISE fellow, researching on nano-catalysis for greener synthetic methods, with Prof. R. S. Varma at US-EPA, Cincinnati, Ohio (USA).
